This young, friendly village of Otranto is situated on a small bay on the extreme southern tip of Italy where the Adriatic and Ionian seas meet. Here the sky is as blue as the sea and stucco walls are brilliant white. Flowers and vines climb stone terraces while lush palms dot the countryside. Guests at Otranto find it easy to excel in being idle or active as they wish - which is exactly as it should be.

Village Information
Location Set at the extreme south eastern point of the heel of Italy, 1-hour drive from Brindisi (airport). The village lies next to a small, sheltered sandy beach. A small train will take you from the main village to the "Scogliera" annex with its pool, restaurant and nightclub.	Accommodations 425 air-conditioned rooms with shower, separate bathroom. Hairdryers.
Restaurants & Bars Main restaurant: varied buffets, 1 annex restaurant and 2 bars*. The picturesque specialty annex restaurant is located by the pool at the "Scogliera" as is one of the bars.	Other Services Boutique, bazar, beach towels (against deposit), car rental. Additional cost

Special lessons for beginners:
Snorkeling, sailing, Ocean- polo. Tennis: 10 hard courts-2 lighted, archery, aerobics. Learn to play Golf (9-hole beginners' course, driving range less than 3000' from the village) on the naturally landscaped golf course. Regular football matches.

Leisure
Swimming pool, boat trips*, bocce ball, ping pong, arts & crafts workshop*, taped classical music, nightclub, social games, karaoke, Club Med evening entertainment.
Special events:
All Summer long - Live Bands. Latin-American & rock'n roll dance classes.
"Techno-Crazy Afternoon" - either once or twice a week: music and dance accompanied by foam parties.

Excursions*
Scroll the local market of Maglie. Go horseback riding. Tour Lecce, Torri des Saleno, Gallipoli, the troglodyte homes of Matera, Alberobello and the countryside of southern Italy.
